Latin Dancing

Without a doubt, this genre provides us with the most exciting and flamboyant rhythms in the world.

Produced by the Latin American countries – with their roots emerging from Africa – while it’s difficult to give an exact date of when the dances were born, it’s is safe to say that they were first seen in Europe as Maxixe in 1913, commonly known as the Samba in 1923. Paso Doble being one of the earliest in 1916, followed by Rumba, Jive and Cha Cha Cha between 1931 and 1948.

These dynamic and colourful dances have surfaced in modern form and are now widely used for their Latin look and body effect, which is truly superb for keeping in great shape.
